Inspur’s High Performance Servers Certified for SAP HANA?

Inspur’s High Performance Servers running SAP HANA deliver state-of-the-art in-memory computing environment for real-time applications and analytics to customers

FREMONT – AUGUST 16, 2016 – Inspur today announced that its High Performance Server line, the 4-socket servers NF8480M4 and NF8460M4, and the innovative 8-socket servers TS860 and TS860G3, have been certified for operating the SAP HANA® platform*. The High Performance server line for SAP HANA supports customers by offering a rock-solid in-memory computing platform for the most crucial SAP HANA–based applications. With extensive RAS features in the highly scalable, modular design, up to 288 computing threads and 12TB of memory along with support for NVMe SSDs in a single enclosure, the 4-socket and 8-socket servers provide highly flexible and scalable (up and/or out) platforms that are ideal for the most memory-hungry, latency-sensitive real-time applications and analytics.

SAP HANA combines database, data processing and application platform capabilities in-memory. The platform provides libraries for predictive, planning, text processing, spatial and business analytics. By providing advanced capabilities, such as predictive text analytics, spatial processing and data virtualization on the same architecture, it further simplifies application development and processing across big-data sources and structures. This makes SAP HANA a highly suitable platform for building and deploying next-generation, real-time applications and analytics.
