Inspur Helps Air China with its Information System

Inspur, the leading data center products and solutions provider, announced it will begin providing operation and service system support for Air China. Air China is one of the airlines with the highest transportation abilities in China. Its service covers 1330 destinations in 193 countries and has been selected as one of the “Top 500 Global Brands” for nine consecutive years. Member of Star Alliance, Air China is now working on building an even higher-efficiency intelligent information system, further improving work efficiency and service quality.

The core information systems of Air China is divided into two major categories: the operation system and the service system. The operation systems provide search, extraction and analysis of data from a multitude of databases, facilitating flight plans. The service system includes the self check-in system, sales systems, etc. All of these are high-traffic systems which all need top support and stability in order to provide timely and efficient feedback to customers.

After comprehensive evaluation and testing of Inspur’s solutions, Air China was able to select the latest four and two-socket servers.
