Inspur Yingxin NF8520 is a four-way server that adopts brand-new QPI architecture high-speed Internet technology. It supports up-to-date Intel®Xeon® processor of 7500 series, with the on-line integrated transaction processing performance being improved by 2.5 times and high-performance floating-point computing power being improved by 3.8 times. Higher computing power: Adopt the NEHALEM micro-architecture processor which is based on QPI high speed Internet technology and support the up-to-date Intel®Xeon® processor of 7500 series, capable of up to 24 MB high-speed cache with 8 computing cores and 16 threads. Compared with the last generation, the on-line integrated transaction processing performance of the system is enhanced by 2.5 times and the high-performance floating-point computing power is improved by 3.8 times. Greater data bandwidth: NEHALEM-EX processor integrates memory controller and each CPU has up to four high-speed interconnection channels with memory; adopt 8-piece hot-plug memory expansion design to support up to 64DIMM; use DDR3 800/1066MHZ memory, the capacity of which can reach 1TB; support advanced fault tolerance functions, such as four-way interleaved memory access and memory mirroring, etc. and provide 9 times of theoretical memory and bandwidth upgrading compared with the memory control technology of the previous generation. More powerful data control: The data access can optionally adopt optimized 8-channel RAID controller which is compatible with new generation SAS2 technology and SAS hard disks; the data communication rate can reach 6GB and the system also provides mainstream 2.5 design to allow for future application trend. Higher system reliability: Key components such as power supplies, system cooling fans and hard disks support hot-plug. This facilitates the maintenance work and enables customers to maintain the hardware without shutting off the system. It makes the application system operating continuously. Faster data communication: Standard configuration integrates four high-performance giga network controllers adopting IOAT2/VT/VMDQ technology. This greatly improves the network I/O capacity and effectively decreases the processing resource of the system. Customers may enjoy faster network transmission without any jamming. KVM-OVER-IP, cooperating with Inspur Ruijie Management Kit, enables customers to perform remote management and maintenance more effectively. The system provides 11 PCI-E expansion slots to satisfy different expansion requirements.
