Operator T: We've benefited from this automated end-to-end fulfillment process that improves our provisioning efficiency and customer satisfaction

Overview

Inspur provided a one-stop fulfillment solution to replace the original complex systems to shorten the average provisioning period, improve resource data accuracy and boost business volume for Operator T.

Background Information

Operator T was founded in 1854, acting as the only fixed-line operator in Egypt and the largest fixed-line operator in Africa and the Middle East with more than 12 million subscribers.

In the strategic goal of digital transformation, Operator T faces the challenge of improving customer experience and expanding new markets.

There was lack of automatic work order flow and end-to-end business support, so that complex business process and great pressure existed on system integration.

In 2018, Inspur won the opportunity to construct a totally new platform to cover an E2E fulfillment process, full lifecycle of resource management, and network activation.

Overview for Solutions

After customer request is accepted, the service should be actually delivered on the network side. Inspur fulfillment solution included a unified resource management platform  to improve resource accuracy, implemented workflow engine to bring a better provisioning efficiency, and realized seamless integration with surrounding systems, complete support business, optimize O&M efficiency.

Solutions

Functional module scope includes Order Management, Inventory Management and Activation Management.

Order Management is the core system of service fulfillment solution. It integrates with BSS to receive customer order and start service fulfillment process. It implements a workflow engine and acts as message orchestrator for IM, AM, WFM and other systems to complete fulfillment request.

Inventory Management is capable for modeling all the technologies and equipment on which service depends and enforcing on logical capacity. It keeps the inventory aligned with the live network by synchronizing with external data sources, such as network and element management systems. Inventory management puts accurate inventory at the heart of the OSS and ensures that automated processes are driven by accurate data.

Activation Management is a centralized platform to receive activation orders from OM and execute activation operations on EMS/NE. It is capable of accessing EMS/NE supporting multi-vendor, multi-protocol and dispatching instructions using customized instruction template.
