System Architecture
iPIS is a passenger information system that provides information to passengers through computers and multimedia applications at stations and on on-board display terminals. Under normal circumstances, the passenger information system provides dynamic multimedia information in real time, such as boarding instructions, service hours, train arrival and departure times, train schedules, management announcements, government announcements, travel references, stock information, media news, live events, advertisements, etc.; it also provides tips on dynamic emergency evacuation in case of fire, blockage, riots, terrorism, and other abnormal emergencies. The on-board equipment receives real-time or pre-recorded information via wireless transmission, and then plays the processed audios and videos on the LCD screen in the passenger room.

Security and reliability
The devices and data access are encrypted with dynamic keys; the vehicle-to-ground wireless communication network can self-recover from network faults and is integrated with the IoT gateway protocols to support the products from most terminal manufacturers.
