China’s top-tier telecom operators and Alibaba jointly build and operate an advanced AI data center, empowering both parties to scale up and enhance the efficiency of cloud computing and AI services, driving deep integration of AI across various industries, and creating greater industrial value.
This data center adopts the new technologies and products of Alibaba’s CUBE DC 5.0 architecture. Centered on “technological innovation + productized prefabrication + refined design + full-process collaboration,” Inspur has achieved high-standard implementation across the four dimensions of design, technology, products, and teams, making this project a benchmark for the "east data, west computing" national hub.
For the 60MW IT load in Building D04, 260 standardized prefabricated container products (comprising 342 containers) have been deployed, covering a full range of prefabricated solutions including liquid-cooled IT containers, air-cooled IT containers, lithium battery containers, cooling water conditioning containers, and medium-voltage power containers. All containers are pre-integrated and pre-tested in the factory, requiring only on-site assembly and deployment, which significantly improves construction efficiency.
The project adopts Inspur’s air-liquid homologous architecture, with a single liquid-cooled rack power of up to 83kW – a leading industry benchmark. Combined with Inspur’s full-stack liquid cooling technology and intelligent CDU (Coolant Distribution Unit) for cooling capacity distribution, it enables real-time on-demand allocation of cooling and power, effectively reducing PUE.
The power usage effectiveness(PUE) is as low as 1.159 with Alibaba’s 5.0 architecture.
